Who Took the "Star" out of Star Jones? She Did!

The viewers didn't turn against Star Jones because she got married and then got skinny. They turned against her because she parlayed big her, little her, single her and married her into a product: STAR! Her own ego gained all the weight she dropped from her body. This is why viewers turned against Star:

1) When she was fat she championed all fat women. Then she got skinny and left behind all the fat women whose side she was supposedly on. Instead of continuing to champion them, she just championed herself.

2) By having gastric bypass surgery she cheated. Any woman who struggles with weight issues will tell you this. Gastric bypass surgery is the easy way out. It doesn't take a whole lot of will power to step away from the food trough when the alternative is getting desperately sick. PLUS Star hasn't even admitted to having the surgery, instead, intimating that she lost the hundred plus pounds through diet and exercise alone. Yeah, right.

3) Star made her relationship, engagement, wedding to a gay man into the biggest clown nuptials since Liza Minnelli and David Guest invited Michael Jackson and Elizabeth Taylor to witness their scary exchange of vows. Using The View to shill for free wedding stuff, going on and on about her Nancy man being the love of her life and going over the details and guest list ad nauseum (emphasis on "nauseum") was much ado about nothing that mattered to any of us regular folk.

4) Star's most egregious transgression was to think that anyone in the world gives a hoot. We all have our own lives with our own challenges and trying to empathize with someone as shallow as my backyard birdbath just aint gonna happen.
