There Will Be Oscar

Words escape me in describing his performance in "There Will Be Blood" so I'll just say that it is probably the best performance I've seen in my lifetime. That is surely saying something since Betty Lou is ... ahem ... well, let's just say I'm mature. I've posted these two pictures of him (one as Daniel Plainview) the other of Lewis at an awards show this year. There isn't much of a resemblance but it's the difference in the quality of his voice between himself and as Plainview that is simply astounding.
I like it when the Oscar goes to the actor with the best performance of the year. He is that actor. And then some.
